We are so excited for our first #How2Tuesday of the fall semester: How 2 Raise Money: Art or Science? with Ziad Moukheiber, CEO, Boston Harbor Angels, and Managing Partner, EQx Fund.

You're starting a company and realize that you need money to grow your operations. You decide to raise money. But how do you start? What is the process? Ziad will provide an overview of what it means to raise money, including why you need it, the process, and different sources of financing.

About Ziad Moukheiber
A business leader with over two decades of experience in building scalable organizations and advising companies in sales, marketing, operations, IT, service delivery, and customer service, Ziad founded SilverSword in 1998. SilverSword LLC was acquired by NSK Inc. in 2015.

Ziad is an active angel investor and is currently CEO of Boston Harbor Angels, one of the top angel groups in the US. Ziad is also Managing Partner at EQx Fund, an evergreen angel fund focused on diversified early stage investments with extraordinary founders. Ziad is on the board of businesses and nonprofit businesses with a special interest in technology and entrepreneurship.
